Rockport Property Sales Range From $350,000 To $2.5 Million In Late Summer

Rockport recorded 11 property transfers between Aug. 26 and Sept. 4, according to Essex County Registry of Deeds records. Four of the sales disclosed a price, ranging from $350,000 for a Broadway condominium unit to $2.5 million for a Phillips Avenue property, with a median of $672,000 among those four. Granite Street saw two separate transfers. Six of the 11 deeds involved a buyer and seller sharing the same surname or trust name, meaning fewer than half of the period's recorded transactions were sales between unrelated parties. The data does not support characterizing the period as especially active or quiet.
