Rockport July Deed Sales Top Out at $1.2 Million on Marmion Way
The Essex County Registry of Deeds recorded 14 Rockport property transfers between July 23 and July 31, but only three disclosed a sale price. Those ranged from $800,000 to $1,200,000, with a median of $950,000. The month's top disclosed sale was 38 Marmion Way, Lot 6, which sold for $1,200,000 on July 24, moving from the Joseph P. Abu Living Trust to buyer Heather Kirk. Half of the month's transfers moved property within the same family or into a trust for the same owner, and six of the 14 involved subdivided lots or parcels rather than standalone addresses. With price data available for only a fifth of transactions, the overall market tone cannot be characterized from this dataset alone.
