Marmion Way Condo Sale Leads Rockport's Late-Summer Deed Roundup
Rockport recorded 14 property transfers between July 17 and Aug. 15, but only five deeds disclosed a sale price, ranging from $440,000 to $1,806,272 with a median of $550,000. The month's top sale was a $1,806,272 condominium at 22 Marmion Way, Unit 22, sold by 22 Marmion Way Realty Trust to Marilyn Archibald. Half of the recorded deeds, seven of 14, were transfers between family members or into personal trusts, and none of those disclosed a price. Condominium or unit properties made up eight of the 14 transfers. With most prices undisclosed, the data does not support characterizing the period as a buyer's or seller's market.
