Granite Street Anchors Rockport's August Home Sales
Rockport recorded 14 property transfers between July 31 and Aug. 29, eight of which disclosed a sale price ranging from $419,300 to $975,000, with a median of $575,000. The month's top sale was a High Street condominium unit that sold for $975,000 on Aug. 20, followed by a $875,000 sale on Granite Street, which saw four total transactions during the period. Six of the month's 14 deeds, 43%, were transfers between family members or into a trust, and none of those six disclosed a price, a pattern distinct from the eight arms-length sales that all reported figures.
